Morning drive
On this drive, we saw more birds including the eagle shown (second row left) and the woodpecker (bottom, right). The woodpecker was creating a great amount of noise for such a small bird.
During the recent floods, part of the bridge approach washed away so the MalaMala staff built a ramp on one side up to the top of the bridge. It was exciting every time we went up and down this ramp on each drive--it didn't seem strong enough but it always held.
