On our final full day in India, we took a very pleasant boat ride over to Elephanta Island--it would be a good way to spend part of any Sunday.
After touring the Prince of Wales Museum, we tried out some more of the hotel's facilities including the bar/restaurant at the swimming pool, the Harbour Bar, Bombay's first licensed drinking establishment and an Indian restaurant at the top of the tower which had a view over Bombay. The hotel was quite a place.
The next morning we flew back to London to overnight for a brief visit with relatives and then it was on to Washington the following day, completing our three week introduction to India.
