Before leaving Rohetgarh, we were invited by one of the hotel waiters to visit his home and meet his family. This level of friendliness to new acquaintances is not particularly unusual in India and he was extremely proud to have us meet his family.
Our main sightseeing for the day was at the Jain temples at Ranakpur. As the photos will attest, they are spectacular temples.
After leaving Ranakpur and driving for a few hours more, we pulled into Udaipur around dusk. At that point, we were finished with the long road trips for which we were grateful.
