Our sightseeing today consisted of touring the magnificent temples of Khajuraho. Although these thousand year old-plus temples would be famous for their workmanship alone, they are more well known for the erotic nature of many of their sculptures.
Today, Khajuraho is quite rural in nature but, at one time, it was the center of the universe for the Chandelas, a powerful dynasty in central India.
